Correspondence of directors Carl H. Swanson and Carl H. Jackson, and of administrative assistant Hazel C. Daniels. Consists of correspondence with other state agencies relating to management of institutions, e.g., with the Fire Marshal concerning inspections and with the Highway Department concerning access roads; miscellaneous general correspondence; and institution general correspondence, primarily circular letters or letters sent to all institutions simultaneously. The miscellaneous general correspondence relates to all aspects of institution management and includes occasional correspondence concerning individual cases.
